This image was inspired by the ultrasounds during my first pregnancy. On my 3rd ultrasound, we could see our baby girl sucking her thumb, and I burst into tears of happiness, realising just how miraculous this process is and how my biggest wish is to make her feel safe, loved and nurtured. This painting is a manifestation of my wish for my baby’s development in my womb.
